Thoughts on this map? please help :)

So i just reset (again!) and i chose this map:



i picked it bc it has that open space next to the plaza for my villager houses, and it had the south waterfall which is nice, and also its essentially the exact map my favourite dream address has (tumblr is nevvleaf, but the map on tumblr isnt updated) so im wondering what your thoughts are? im so picky and indecisive. the town fruit is apples and the grass is circles, i just didnt want triangle or cherries so thats fine i suppose. thank you

I think that is a perfect map! I would chose it right now! Try it out for a couple of weeks and by than you will know how you feel about the map layout.

I absolutely adore peninsula-like maps, so this is great! The Re-Tail isn't too far from the dock and there are only 2 lakes \o/. Since there are also no "unusable" strips of thin land which is a plus. I think it would be really great if you could create a residential area in the top left or along the river~!\

My only concerns are that one of the ponds is right beneath the entrance to the shopping area (the term for it slips my mind atm)!

yeah that pond is so annoying :/ still not sure if i should keep it, ive reset so many times, i need help lol

I personally wouldn't keep it. I don't like how Re-Tail is in the corner and far away from both the dock and the train station. The large pond is right in the middle so you have to build your bridges around it and the small ponds are both in the way. The town hall is also in a corner which you might like, but I like it close to other important buildings. Unless there are a lot of things that you really like about this town, I'd recommend that you keep trying for something better.
