Note : By NPCs I don't mean neighbors- this mostly pertains to characters that reside permanently in your town.

I've just been thinking about Isabelle lately and realized that I spend a lot of time wondering what she does in her spare time. Kinda depressing to think that she just sits there waiting for me- same with her brother. Like- every time I walk past him, he's just standing there in the rain, knowing I rarely visit the HHA model homes section.

I have a theory that they both throw darts at a picture of my face when I'm not around. "MAKE UP YOUR MIND ABOUT YOUR PWPS." / thunk

Kapp'n has a cool life, though. Probably. As does Dr. Shrunk. I practically built the guy his own nightclub because nobody's ever in it.

Tom Nook is some kind of awful. I have a hard time believing he's that legitimate, you know? He's gotta be a mafia boss or something.

ik i always feel so sad when i pass by digby lmao and i never get any streetpasses so i don't even talk to him :/

I run in, get my goodies, and get out. At first I used it to buy furniture I didn't have but, now I can just go through my catalogue.

Poor guy. I saw him at the Roost, once. Probably seething with hatred.

I feel Isabelle is this peppy perfectionist, every PWP it's "Nope space needed blah blah side and blah blah back!" she seriously always wants the most empty space which bugs me because just really Isabelle? Let me run my own town darn it:p

I kinda hate that.

Most of my PWP placements go like

"WE NEED AT LEAST 3 SQUARES BACK-"
"But I'm putting in a bench-"
"AND 2 SQUARES ON EACH SIDE."
"But-"
"IT'S IMPOSSIBLE ANY OTHER WAY."

I always wonder what Reese and Cyrus talk about when no ones in retail.
Probably like...
Reese:"we should have a child llama",
Cyrus:"honey we can't the stores open" "
Reese:"That's what makes it fun *Brushes aside flea market space* I'm ready"

So that's what I think about at night

She is very much a perfectionist. I mean, what if I wanted to build a bridge that isn't even close to water? Shouldn't I have the freedom to do so? Haha. It's mostly our money that gets put into these projects anyway.

To be fair though, she's probably more of a mayor than any of us. What on earth does she do that makes her so busy all the time?

I actually like Tom Nook a lot. Everyone always jokes that he's this mafia boss, but he seems like a nice guy. I mean, he builds homes for complete strangers and doesn't even give you a deadline on when you need to pay off your house, and there's no interest at all. His workers also seem to be capable of building houses in the night while you are presumably sleeping in your house, which is outstanding.

I agree, sometimes I think I would love an oriental land bridge simply for decoration but oh well I shall stick to my river bridges:)

I also agree, I kinda like Tom Nook; he's actually pretty chill and I don't think his prices are too terrible either, seems fair enough though I despise spending 7 mil total on a single home xD

i feel bad for digby but i always go have a dance with him every now and then (he is so cute when its raining with his little rain coat i just want to smoosh his cheeks)

LMAO! That's about how it goes, doesn't it? Even a bench is an exercise in total frustration. And did I ever get ticked about laying out a stupid picnic blanket. I mean, how hard can it be and there was loads of space above the fountain! It must be that there was a hidden train plaza brick that is now buried deep underground that registers as "not enough space." My Plaza was pretty far back as far as I could tell.

URGH...

Entirely my thought lol, that made me laugh xD yup even with space; just the perfect amount she still quibbles on about moving it around, such an irritating thing they should have made more leeway in the game for more PWPs and less annoyance with space necessities xD

What is so hard about Brewster giving me a second cup of coffee i legit work for free in your cafe...
what am i supposed to do with coffee beans anyway

You sell them.

Also he gives you free furniture and coffee stuff.

Don't diss Brewster man. Although- a second cup shouldn't be that impossible. I just want to sit and chat with him, is that too much? ; ;

I guess Brewster is afraid that if we have too much caffeine we'll die and then he'll lose his cafe.

It's only good business, coo!

:P

I just had a thought...instead of selling them at Re-Tail for 2,000 bells, maybe I should put them in a Flea Market space (if I can) and sell for more. My villagers' homes won't be destroyed with just that and I can at least make a few more bells. After all, if the stingy villagers can't contribute toward my PWP's for THEM (okay, for me, too) then they can at least give me something back... :)

Yup. I tried placing a bridge one spot over from where the old one was, and she was like "lol nope. there be a sign in the way" and I am just like "...no. no it is not."

I feel bad for Digby though. He just stands there. I never talk to him. Poor fellow.

What about Shrunk? I give him perfect fruits sometimes. He's not a loser in my books. I think he's sorta funny

Maybe he's afraid that the caffeine will stunt our growth (we do look like we're five year's old in the game), so he has to limit the amount of coffee we have. Besides, he doesn't seem like the type of person, er, pigeon who likes small talk anyway.

And you can sell those coffee beans in the Flea Market for a maximum of 7,999 Bells, I believe. You might be able to get more if you have a high friendship with villagers, but I'm not sure. Go forth and be your town's overpriced coffee supplier.

This thread made me laugh entirely too much. I do feel sorry for Isabelle though, that girl never seems to sleep. Even our owl friends in the museum take a snooze now and then.

My favourites are Brewster and Celeste, although my opinion of Brewster dropped drastically today when he served me pigeon-milk latte. I am just like "pigeon milk from WHO?!"

I always fell bad for Kicks...I haven't gone to his shop in months o.o

I go to his shop every once in a while, but- it's pretty predictable, and I've been wearing the steel-toed boots or white leather shoes since I got them.

Maybe he should expand, too. Start selling- more than just four pairs of shoes per day or whatever.
