I'm honestly surprised nobody has made a Thread for this yet. I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is on Smash Bros for Wii U and 3ds, what do you think about the new characters, etc. To start things off, I'll give my opinion on the game: It looks awesome, but I am sad to see the game looks like it's about as slow as Brawl, however, maybe there is still hope for Smash 4 to have tournaments.

"Wathaniel" in AC New Horizons
To be honest I'm not too happy with the new characters, except the villager. I had been hoping for Waluigi to be playable since forever, and just yesterday I found out that he won't be. Now I'm not even sure if I want it anymore 
I used to dislike some of the characters, but some have grown on me. It doesn't bother me too much that Waluigi is gonna be in, but since Lucario is in, it makes me sad because I was hoping for Mewtwo to return, but that doesn't seem likely anymore. :/

When you compare it to the Wii U, yes, but by itself it looks okay.
I was hoping for a difference in characters between 3DS and Wii U, but apparently that isn't gonna happen.
I have no choice, but I am buying the 3DS Version. (I don't have a Wii U, and I'm going to Spend $500 (or whatever it is) just for one game.) It still looks good though. I just hope, if it has like the story mode, that its the same and such.
@Venice It's confirmed to have a one player mode similar to the adventure mode in Melee, but no cut-scenes like in Brawl.

You have to remember that the 3DS doesn't have nearly as much power as the Wii-U terms of graphics. Home consoles will always be superior to handheld consoles. That said, I'm getting the 3DS version myself[and I'm hyped up for Mega Man as a playable character]

Because it's Nintendo. They still barely know what online play is. And from the get go they said there wasn't going to be compatibility, so they threw in some exclusive stages in the hopes of appeasing everyone.
With that said I'm getting the Wii U version. The 3DS wasn't built to play fighting games and I'm sure there will be a very bad feature that forces you to use the touch screen and I'm not having any of that.

I like most of the new characters they've revealed so far (Rosalina 
) but Little Mac kinda annoys me idk why. But I might get the 3DS version because apparently there is going to be some customization function that you can upload extras or settings or something to the Wii U version, but it would all depend on the extent of the feature.

I'll totally buy both if need be but the 3DS version is my main priority, If it's confirmed to support Online play that is. (It most likely will but it kinda bothers me because there's always that chance Nintendo will say "Wouldn't work well" or something.)

I only have a 3ds so I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it, I might buy a Wii U, but I'm not sure yet, if they make Animal crossing for it I will definitely get one.
They've made Animal Crossing for every nintendo console all the way back to the game cube,so you might want to buy one since its a huge chance they'll make an Animal Crossing U.

I'll buy one once/if they make it, right now there's not any games I want for it, though Smash Bros and Mario Kart are coming out for it but that's not enough to make me wanna buy one, also the price will probably drop eventually, or I'll just buy an used one.
