I don't really understand cycling. I mean I know how to do it, but how do you guys have the patience to cycle SIXTEEN people and not lose any other villagers? Do you cycle with only one person. For example if you had 10/10 dreamies but one moved so you had 9/10, do you have to cycle through the one villager that isn't a dreamie? That seems impossible. I'm explaining this really bad, but I really want an answer. How long does it take you to go through a full 16 villager cycle with only one villager slot?

I don't believe it's possible to cycle with 9/10 dreamies. The most recent villager move-in isn't going to move before you move out another villager first. So..... if you have 9 dreamies and invite someone to move in to start cycling, you'll more than likely have to move out another dreamie in order for Villager 10 to move out.

It took me about 5 (?) months to cycle Beau, I just finished last night. T.T I had to wait to adopt another dreamie in order to finish my cycle.

I have almost finished my villager cycle for Beau, I think I will be done tonight or perhaps tomorrow :)
I have lost some villagers in the process. Stitches, Coco, Merry and Rosie. But I was willing to sacrifice them. I have had Ankha, Skye, Fauna and Marshal all the time and I was planning on keeping Stitches, I just wasn't paying enough attention to what I was doing lol.
I've spend around a month and a week so far, with a break on almost two-three weeks.
So the more slots you have open for villagers to come and go, the faster it will go.

I have also gotten a few lovely villagers in the process. Merengue and Lucky showed up in my campsite and Papi moved in randomly. So you win some, you lose some :) I don't think it's that bad. It's just annoying to have a messy town all the time hahaha! And have to get rid of the last annoying villagers in the end.

You can also pick up villagers from the campsite and so on and sell them - you might earn some bells!

I'm going to start my cycle for Poppy today, I put her house in the only spot I can place my Cafe, and she's all alone by herself. Once she moves I'll still have four spaces to cycle the 16 villagers, I'm extremely careful with TTing after losing Ankha, Julian and Diana in previous towns. Considering how much free space I have, it shouldn't take long to cycle her back in.
