So Hamphrey asked to leave on Wednesday so today I’m looking for a new villager. He was my only cranky so I’d like a new one. Chow is in my campsite. Not that impressed. And I’m currently on a NM island with spike. Thoughts? Any cranky recommendations?

I love crankies. I had Gaston and Harry in NL; initially I didn’t like Gaston, but he eventually grew on me. If I had more room for more villagers, I’d definitely love to have Gaston again. My favorite cranky though has to be Roscoe; I love how his eyes turn yellow when he gets annoyed or angry. I think Roscoe has quite a unique appearance.
What species of animal do you like the most? Or what species don't you have? Do you like more colorful animals or do you prefer more realistic looking animals?
Depends on what species or look you like, as said above. I would recommend Dobie, Tom, or Wolfgang. Maybe we can give you better recommendations if we know what you are looking for though.
I don’t mind colorful depending on the colors. Cool color like purples,blues. I do like realistic colors as well. No hamsters please. I like most of the animals and I prefer wild animals as opposed to domestics I do like cats though
i like them! they act more like grandpas than they do cranky now but they’re still really fun to have around! i kind of miss them yelling at me, though lmaoo
i recommend dobie! i’ve got him on my island and he’s great - there’s no beating an elderly cranky wolf
Personally I love Tom, but I think Butch, Murphy, and Gonzo are also really cute! I love Tom's cranky personality because he seems like this mean old grandpa but when you get to know him he has such a soft side and is so sweet!
