Those Villagers that WONT LEAVE

Dont ignore him! Talk to him after not talking to him for 2 weeks or a month or so, that way he says like 'where have you been' Usually after that they are the next to leave? well thats what happens tome

Mac.. Oh Mac..
He needed to go. No amount of ignoring would make him leave BUT I found that once I'd spoken to him by accident, then he told me he was leaving the next day..
Weird right? XD

Cookie wouldn't leave for ages, and Tammy is still just chillin' in my town... TTing to get Marshal out, and only permanent residents ask to leave -- I'd happily take the chance to get rid of Tammy too!

This is all 5 of my non-dreamie villagers...all of my dreamies keep pinging and trying to move but never the others...SO IRRITATING!

I was lucky this go around and little to no problems getting all my dreamies. Only had a few minor losses.

olaf....please...im begging u

The ignoring trick does work. If you broke silence, you have to create another character and try again. Introduce yourself to everyone in town, then as days go by talk to the ones you want to keep and IGNORE Olaf. IMPORTANT: from my personal experience with Monty who stuck in my town for 2 months, if that villager you want to evict has anything up for sale at Retail, you or someone HAS to buy it or else the trick won't work

OK...here is how you do it...

Make sure that nobody wants to move today. (if they do, and its not someone you want out, tell them NO)

TT 4 days BACK. Save.

TT 4 days AHEAD. (same day you started with).

Walk in front of every villager and someone will ping you to move.

Just be sure to say NO to everyone you want to stay.

This has worked without fail for me for 30+ villagers.

Most important is to be sure that when you walk in front of a villager, they actually "see" you (not fishing, talking to another villager, etc)

Talking to Isabelle and ignoring DOES NOT WORK...it was purely coincidence if you think it did... Moving out is completely random in every way possible.

IF a villager says "naw...I changed my mind" after you agree to have them move, CLOSE THE GAME without saving. They will ping you again, the answer changes each time. BUT then, do NOT speak to them AT ALL until they are in boxes...no matter how many times they ping you!

I am not 100% sure, but I think that the last animal to move in can't move out unless someone else moves out first. I have 10 villagers and Poppy was the last animal to move into my town last year and I haven't seen her ask to move out even once.

So if you have 9 of your dreamies and you want to move out the 10th animal, and that animal was the last one to move in, you're probably stuck with him/her unless you make one of your dreamies move out first.

10th villager phenomena is very real ... but they can ping to move. ... eventually. I have gotten a void that I LOATHED...but everyone else in my town were Tier 1 dreamies... I was able to get her to move but it was a month+ after she moved in.

FINALLY
OLAF LEFT

That's good. Some animals are so stubborn that they do not want to move out. However, what I learned 5 months ago is that it's hard to get rid of the 10th villager, especially if he/she moved in a bad spot. I remembered trying this with Cesar since I needed to place my bridge there, but he won't move out, so I had to get rid of another villager.

Sometimes, the random number generator is polarized (which means it always follows a pattern, without being random).

I had Beardo for a full year until I ended up giving up on the town he was in because he was the last hold out I needed to move in order to get my last dreamie and finish my player houses and pwp's and just settle in to my town... I was just that frustrated with waiting for him to leave. He seriously never once asked, not once in a whole year, even when I liked him and talked to him all the time, he NEVER wanted to move. And I gutted the town and sold the cartridge to gamestop because of him, because I just couldn't enjoy my town because it didn't feel like I was ever gonna be happy there because he was never going to leave.

Hes a bit scary! He has an old man haircut and its...strange...

JAMBETTE. She is the only villager I HAVE that will NEVER ping me to move. She's one of my originals back from -October- and I've had some of my villagers ping me to move twice even and she REFUSES. It's like she KNOWS I hate her and want her house spot for another character.

lol that's the least of it. He is nice enough, and I definitely went through a period where I did like him because he's like a nice gentleman (cuz smug, duh) and he actually fits that visually very well... then I started to get a little creeped out when I noticed his "other" haircut... or lack there of... Placed in an unfortunate place. That was the beginning of the end, then once he stuck around forever I slowly began to loathe him...

LILLY I won her in a raffle and in time I lost interest in her 1 year in game time I still had her I stopped playing for a few months and the person who moved out was Lilly I was actually very happy I didn't play because she finally mover out go figure
