This plot reset trick

Why do we have to TT to 5:58 am? I'm going to do it aand last time it didn't work. Not sure why either because when I walked around town Faunas house was nowhere to be seen so I assumed she just wasn't moving in that day. So when I turned on my main character on the same day her house was there? (thank God Fauna moved in a decent place ruined two perfect trees but it's okay)

You don't have to TT to that time.. just do it after 6AM and you'll be fine.

Did you save on that new character? Because if not, then her plot was bound to show up.

it worked, but since where the villager is or if it will be there is determined every time you load a character or make a new one, it appeared somewhere randomly when loading your mayor

so if you had saved with the first character there would have been no plot, but since you reset, her plot location (which had been none) was reset too

you don't need to tt to 5:58, it works but something a little easier could be changing the internal 3ds clock to the next day and you can use the trick like that

LOL!! That makes sense but in a guide it said set the time to 5:58 I don't know. It's confusing me.

People who don't want to change their DS clock will time travel to 5:58 AM and wait for the day to change at 6AM because you cannot change the time of day and make a new character at the same time. If you change the day, then you are forced to log in to your character which would jeopardize the whole reset trick
