This is SO annoying!

Hi, I have a problem with villagers and their wierd times to move in, I got to know through experience and just everyone else online said that a random villager won't move in, if there are currently 9 villagers in the village.

But now it's the fourth time this has happened over the last 2 - 4 months! I've had this game and this town for over 2 years now, and this has never, ever happened 'till now.

Was it an update or was I lucky for those years? I feel betrayed (I'm over exaggerating right now) it's so annoying.

Also the villagers that are moving in, are not villagers I've had in my town before, it's not just the 16th+ villager that's moving back. Also I haven't played online in a long while since my 3ds' Wi-fi things wasn't working properly so these aren't other peoples void villagers either! These are just random villagers doing nothing but defying the laws that I thought were true.

These are the villagers that've been moving in : Maelle, Monique, Puddles & Olivia!

Please someone give me information 'bout this!

Unfortunately it is less likely for a 10th villager to move in randomly, but certainly not impossible! When I'm down to 9 villagers I always check my town before I start the day. It might be a little tedious but it's better than a suprise villager to me!

Also you could be getting them from Streetpass perhaps? Do you get many of those?

Hmmm...have you been using Steetpass? Because you can pick up random villagers from there too. If not, I have no explanation, that is definitely weird. I hope this doesn't start happening to me!

Sadly streetpass is not an option, I live 5 - 7km from my nearest neighbour. And also where I live 3ds is considered a baby console, that only dumb people use, and everyone sucks sony's butt.

You could also be getting them when you're visiting or letting others visit your town for trades and such.

Overall there are 4 ways to get a 10th villager. First is straight up adopting them from another town, second is inviting them via campsite, third is streetpass, and last is wifi void.

Have you ever talked to those animals? It might help you figure it out. If they start singing a town tune or say I lived with such and such mayor in so and so town, that should tell you what happened.

I know but as I stated in the thread it couldn't have been over wifi void, because my 3ds's inernet thing hasn't been working, and streetpass isn't an option either because I haven't gotten any streetpasses the last year, and as for adoption and campsite, it's pretty obvious when i invited them, idk how I get them,
