You're missing the point here Marcus.

And yeah I know what John said..He was the main motivator in me creating the debate threads.

JUST DON'T OVER EXPLOIT IT GUYS.

I'm not. The point you're making is that we have to many. But we don't, people can just ignore the ones that don't interest them, and post in the ones that do. But isn't that what you do in a forum anyway?

No, my point is calm down before we have too much.
But what I said is there is no such thing as too much :P
First of all there are a limit to how many things you can debate about, and how much you can debate about them (and to be honest we've nearly exhausted the major topics)
And as I keep saying, it's pretty easy to ignore them if you don't want to take part in them.

I understand you can keep ignoring them.
But let's not forget the big picture here. This is an Animal Crossing forum. We shouldn't try to convert it. That's why I believe a small dose is enough. :P
Unless we can get Jerr to make a Debate sub-forum on TBT 2.0

*light bulb above head* Or make a debate group

Yes, we should def. take this idea to Jerr.
Or be lazy, and hope he sees this thread. :P

d1ldo go right ahead.

I'm not against debate threads. I love them.
I'm just saying lower the dosage a bit. Don't take too much at one time so people begin to dislike them. duur.

I'm not sure what thread you were talking about having a debate board for TBT 2, but if it's this one-

Maybe for that board, you have to pay bells to post in. Unlike other threads where you earn bells.

balance is always key, no matter what we're dealing with.

a forum game is always fun, and a debate is always.. well, a debate.

there needs to be events that get the users coming back, topics that make them stay, and users that not only enjoy being a part of all this, but contribute to it twofold.

i dunno. i think marcus has a point in that there's never too much of a good thing, but it gets tricky to participate in 5 debate threads (coherently) at once, and i'd say most of the users here use the active topics link, like myself. :p

which is really where all the trouble is coming from. lol

Pay to post a thread.
Because if it was a group, that would help pay for the group.
