This Is a Miracle...

So I went to an anime/manga convention held in my city.

While in an ACNL, I had 9 villagers, and I just couldn't be bothered to fetch a 10th villager after 40 minutes of campsite reset.

I decided to bring my 3DS to the convention nonetheless. By that I mean I gladly accepted getting 100-200 streetpass tags a day for a continuous 3 days.

Naturally, I'd expect some random villager to pop down their plot in my town. But when I checked back? Nothing. Nothing at all. Even after a full week. I checked my town, and there are some open spots occupied by previous villagers.

could this just be a really good glitch?

Maybe nobody at the convention had a villager in the void after they moved out. You got lucky!

They probably had already passed their villagers on to some of the other 100-200 people.

Did you happen to sacrifice a small animal before you went? Just kidding - I'm glad for you. I think you got lucky and other people got the dumped villagers. You were very lucky! On the other hand, you may have missed out on a dreamie. Still, I'm glad you haven't had some awful villager plop his/her house in your town and in a bad spot, to boot.

Jealous, I once got Ken from a single Streetpass. And I rarely get Streetpasses because I don't take my 3DS out often. ; n;

LOL, you might just be right xD. Still, I think the chances of me not being one of those 100-200 people is pretty fortunate hehe. My HH showcase completely filled up like twice and I had to delete so many houses. It took me forever.

Darn, that's unlucky D:. I did get Moe via Streetpass before I started getting a lot of streetpasses. at first I didn't know since I was back from a long break, and someone moved out. then he just mentioned it to me one day, like 'oh by the way, my previous town tune was ...'.

A lot of people forget that if you street pass people who own the game and left the street pass feature on, but haven't played in forever you would still get a signal for that game from someone so long as they keep their 3ds on at the convention. I think so long as you tell a villager not to move and don't play again none of the neighbors will try to move. Still, that is pretty lucky.

Not sure what you're trying to get at, but up til that point, I have been playing AC pretty actively. But yeah, definitely glad a random 10th villager didnt ruin my possibility to adopt a villager I actually want.
