This game hates me

Basicslly my little brother found Filbert at his campsite today and really wants him but only wants Lucha to move out so he can do the campsite method to find Raymond. He has gone to bed and for the past 2 and a half hours I have been debating with Filbert asking for him to move to my island, however he somehow has asked everybody BUT Lucha at least three times to move out. Is there a reason Lucha hasn't been mentioned because if there is I really want to know because I do not want to spend another hour talking to Filbert about how he forgot his TV in order to get Lucha to move.

It is rng...unless it was Lucha’s birthday? I think if one villager is having a birthday, the camper won’t ask them to move. Otherwise, I think it is just bad luck.

No it wasn't his birthday. It was just a regular day for him

Nope he was my brother's mandatory smug villager so he moved in quite a while ago

yeah like all the previous comments have shared...this game is pretty rng-dependent on most aspects. the thing with the camper roulette is that you're supposed to close your game immediately as you see the dialogue of the camper mentioning a chosen villager to move out (if it's not the target you're trying to evict) so you can keep resetting. you really just have to keep trying until you land a shot.
