thinking of switching out some villagers....

soOo i have two tows and lately i've found myself getting really tired of one of them.. i've been thinking about switching out some villagers but i don't really know... I love all of my villagers but at the moment I'm just so bored with my town and i don't really love all the locations of my villagers (they're too uniform lmao)

the thing is that idk if it will be worth it!! at the moment i have Lucky, Genji, Kidd, Marshal, Phoebe, Marina, Wendy, Monty, Whitney and Beau and I love all of them so much but I.... still can't really get myself to play in the town?? I've wanted a town with a lot of birds and ducks for a while now but the thing that's mostly stopping me is the lack of personality difference in the birds and ducks smh..
I have all but a few pwps suggested so it's not that big of a deal, but it still bothers me

anyways i kind of wanted some advice and opinions from other people!! have any of you gotten rid of most of your villagers when you got tired of your town? did you like it? was it worth the work? ;;

also villager suggestions if i were to switch out some of my villagers for birds, ducks and some other villagers if you have any suggestions would be great!!

hmm i definitely suggest switching out some villagers. i went through the same thing as you. i got pretty bored f my main town that i dropped it for like 1 month. after getting rid of 5 villagers in exchange for new dreamies i got so much into the game again. so ya, switch villagers.

Sometimes when you get an idea, you just gotta go with it! I have changed up villagers so many times for both my towns.... I'm actually pretty content with the ones I have now though, so hopefully I will be good for a while

yeah, one of the reasons i reset my town was because i just got tired of being
greeted by the same personalities every day, keep your absolute favourites but
i think you should swap them around a bit, and get some good, varied personalities
in (cranky, uchi...) (ؑᵒᵕؑ̇ᵒ)◞✧

I've been switching out a bunch of my villagers lately! It has definitely helped me become interested in the game again!

Hmmm, it's difficult for me as the fun part of this game (for me) comes from finding my dream villagers and then building up the town around them. I only have 3 dream villagers and can't imagine letting them go.
But everybody plays differently, if you want different personalities or you got bored of your current villagers then perhaps let one or two go and see how that changes things. Keep your absolute favourites. It might be that just changing a couple of villagers makes all the difference for you

This happened in my perfect town, lol. Once it was perfect, it became dull. So I moved almost everyone out, tore down most of the pwp's and started all over again. I am very glad I did because it breathed new life into the town and I was able to enjoy meeting a bunch of new villagers I would never have met otherwise. Good luck, sweetie!

Maybe you could try to switch out Marina (since she is a normal) and get Midge? She's pretty cute. ^-^
Or maybe even get Pierce/Keaton/Joey.

If you are interested, I have Miranda the Snooty duck villager in boxes.

I totally get what you mean. I have 4 Cranky Villagers, 2 Smug, 2 Normal, and 2 Snooty. I sometimes get tired that I have so many cranky villagers but I wanted a Wolf Town plus some other villagers. I'm ok with it because I have a second town that I can put different personalities in and villagers I don't have room for in my main town. I don't think I'll get rid of my Villagers if I got bored of them.
