Thinking about resetting too³

Well, like two other people, I'm thinking about resetting my one month old town. I'm not happy anymore.

I've got the town sine the release (14th of June). I spent a lot of time in this town (about 180 hours right now), but I'm not happy with the layout anymore, not happy with the villagers. (Flora moved out, Celia & Gabi moved in -> I hate bunnies and eagles [Just Avery and Apollo are cool]). It's full pathed, it got the perfect status, but.. I don't know. I hate my townmap, TTing destroyed the fun.
Gabi, the ugly bunny, destroyed my path with her house (I didn't except someone moving in and I wanted to get rid of a villager, so I TTed..) I've got hybrids everywhere (without duping!), but.. yeah..

I know, it's a great favor, but can someone visit my town in dream? Here is my dreamcode: 6300 - 2191 - 0163. Please be honest and give me a response, how you liked it, how beautifull it is.. you can give me marks, too!
Please, I'm really desperate right now.

I know how you feel about losing your favorites to time travelling. It really does suck, but you can still get them back after 16 villagers have moved out. At this point, since you say you've got perfect town status and paths and worked hard on it, I wouldn't really recommend you reset. I think you should make like a pros and cons list and really think about it before making your decision. I know people that have reset before because something happened to them that made them rage pretty much, and then they ended up regretting the reset. I've almost done it myself too.

Honestly its been the best decision ive ever made, my new town is fantastic! the layout is great, i love all the villagers, i even have one of my dream villagers, got my joint fave back from my old town, and a sheep which i love, its great! Ive already paid off my mortgage downpayment, and donating 20 fish, lots of insects and 4 fossils, it wont take me long to get back up, especially considering i left all my items at someone elses town and so today just picked them back up, so its basically like i didnt restart, as i have all my items back just with better villagers and layout, the only thing im worried about is getting the police station back!

i wouldn't reset your town. if you're not happy with your villagers, try time traveling two days forward, two days backwards to prevent other people moving. make sure you talk to everyone outside and not inside because if someone is moving, they'll let you know. i'm trying to get rid of o'hare, but he seems to just LOVE my town >.< i'll visit your dream address when i get online

Oh and your dream suite code cannot be the same as your 3ds friendcode. You do have the dream suite, right?

Everyone wants different advice for their own towns. So using other threads about other people's towns wouldn't really help if it's the layout that they're worried about. Unless you mean just adding their worries to another thread that's already existing? Which if that's the case, then I agree.

Miggi, if you have put so many hours and work into your town, I don't think you should restart! But I'd be happy to visit your town through the Dream Suite once you get everything worked out.

But everyone's town is unique. Looking at someone else's reset thread doesn't work because the advice is specific to each town.

Its not unnecessary, the point is, each town is different, one person will have different problems relating to why they want to reset their town to another, to one person what is pointless in resetting, might be very important to another potential resetter, therefore maybe it could be better to have one big megathread on whether someone should reset or not?

First, I thought about responding on one of the other reset thread, but, like Aurora and Gizmoda said, every town is different and the advice is specific on each town. This is why I created a new topic. Just ignore this thread if this is annoying you, Jarrad.

Aww, thanks Aurora, this means a lot to me! I suppose I won't reset my town, but maybe I'll get a second copy of the game.
