I hate that the only significant thing about the golden slingshot is that it's gold. I wish, when in inventory, it opened up the possibility of golden balloons floating through the air, carrying presents filled with at least one golden nugget.

I like how you did the slow reveal. 3 makes less sense without 2, which makes less sense without 1.

I think that gold nuggets are a rare chance to find in balloons even with a regular slingshot. Not sure that the golden slingshot increases the chance at all.

So far there's more things I love about this game than hate, but I am new to it, so maybe my judgment isn't very good yet.

Small things I hate about New Horizons:

•The lack of bridges from the start, so plotting homes or the museum was challenging.

•The music is the dullest yet. I didn't even realize there was music playing at first. On it's own it's not bad and it's really good for relaxing/sleeping.

•You STILL have to discard letters one by one.

I'm not sure yet if I like NH more than NL because it's still a new experience or if I like NH more than NL because it IS better than NL.

You're definitely not alone. Though my campground area has a couple cliffs randomly placed, over-terraformed islands look, well, unnatural.

The sound/lack of sound when you walk on custom patterns can be really jarring. I wish layering them on top of the designer app paths would give the same sound but nope.

I have another:

I hate that there isn't a permit to move buildings at will. I don't mind paying a fee, but I hate that I have to wait a day for changes to take place, and that I'm limited to one bridge/incline install or demolish, and one building move a day.

To this day, nobody really understands how Feng Shui actually works. We have a basic idea of what influences what but we still haven't quantified it numerically and it drives me insane.

I hate not being able to make paths diagonal, I wish they added that as an option. I'm trying ways to work around it instead of using the rounded corners since it looks pretty ugly.

Also your thing about the golden slingshot was what I said in another thread as well haha, except for me I was disappointed it shot 1 pellet instead of 3. I don't have trouble shooting down balloons but the golden slingshot seems to literally be a regular slingshot that lasts longer. If it didn't break then great but it still breaks anyways.

When you equip a tool, it still takes up space in your inventory.

In New Leaf, I'm 95% sure that if you hold a tool, like a net, it's removed from your inventory until you put it away. I miss that because I liked to catch one more bug before I sell them all. It also makes more sense for it to be "removed" from your inventory if you're holding it imo

I haven't played New Leaf in a while so I'm hoping I'm remembering this correctly haha

Overusage of cliffs/waterfalls in people's towns.

Not being able to craft items in multiples - having to stand at a work bench and craft 15 fish bait one by one quickly becomes very tedious and a real chore

This isn't something that I hate so much as just find really odd: you open up a freezer or something like that cooler from the fishing tourney and it asks if you want to change

It's kinda annoying that you can choose where a river starts but not where it ends. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

This is specific to my island but it's always sunny! I've only had two days where it rained, and both of those it was only part of the day. I want some variation!
