Things you do with friends in towns?

What do you guys do with your friends when you visit each other? When I first started out, my friend invited me to her town and we went to the island. I think I spent like an hour or two diving going all "WOW YOU CAN SWIM IN THIS GAME!!!!"

These days I just see how my friends decorate their houses/town

I mostly let them run around and look at all of my pwps and all of the cool stuff in my houses. Sometimes we go to the Island.

I'm always nervous "hanging out" with random people who I haven't talked to a few times beforehand (on discord, VM, kakaotalk lol ;D). I feel more comfortable planning out what to do, like deciding whether to go to the island or if I'm going to give them a tour of my town. But for friends I trust, I don't mind us roaming around my town.. playing hide and seek or taking funny themed photos.. maybe plan like a scavenger hunt? Even though island games can get kinda boring and repetitive, I rather go with friends to rack up meddles faster!! Tina let's hang out soon!!!

Yeah I was thinking island stuff get boring but my friend and I have been messing around (we steal each other's beetles and spam 'Show it off' like immature kids)

I don't have any friends! Strangers have been kind of enough to trust me to roam around their town to get petition signatures from their villagers tho lol

Since I never had any friends, I'll share what it would be fun to do.

If I am the host:

I'd love to give a tour the Town, let my friend explore all my PwPs, my main home / side home, then I'll go take a coffee at the Brewster.
It would be nice to play some hide and seek games, too!
Swimming would be fun. xD
Also, @Dizzy Bone's idea of scavenger looks awesome.

If I am the visitor... I'd like to have a tour of the town, before anything else
I'd be quite happy already by visiting someone else than my own towns, hahaha.

We mainly go to the island to get medals but I love going on town tours and looking what people have done with their pwps!

I haven't done it in a while, but we used to go to the island for games. Close friends (those I text, etc) would chill with me as I'm laying down tiles etc. I've been renovating for a while lol.

When I'm with my friends we tend to just visit at the campground and chat (since we don't know each other in real life, we jus talk about school, friends, pet peeves, etc. :3). The campground is really beautiful at night, so yeah cx. Otherwise, we play hide and seek, talk to each other's villagers cx, go to the island (my friend and I would play a game where you used your shovel to dig holes into a picture and the other person would guess what the picture was cx) If it's someone new, I'll show them my houses and tour my town. If we run out of things to do, I'll give them a tour of my museum exhibits (like fish, bugs, etc. xD)

i let all my close friends just run around and do whatever we want, and we talk to each other in game or on discord voice chat. with people i don't know that well, i give them a tour of my town and we go to the island

I never really know what to do in people's towns when they invite me to stay and hangout so thank god that's only happened a couple times LOL but I've had people over specifically to go to the island and do tours and that was pretty fun! It's just not easy to have a nice casual hangout imo because typing on the tiny in-game keyboard is really hard and tedious, if you had a different chat with your friends open I guess it would be better.

I remember that fishing together in Wild World was a blast though. 8) Since they introduced the sharks and all, just TT to summertime and it's a party. lol

Yeah I'm such an awkward potato in other people's towns and AGREED in game keyboard is so tiny! I either take forever to type or make awful typos LOL

I'd love to hang out with new people here especially ones who don't have friends to play with, but again I'm super awkward around strangers 8(

One time I had a friend come over to check out/inspect my house and they went 'in character' of an off duty police. It was pretty fun I don't update my houses enough to do this often though
