i personally feel like the browser needs to be improved. i cant even load up a certain image when i was on google and it takes too long to load the whole forum. i cant even view pinterest on it.

Since we all know that Nintendo loves using outdated technology, might as well list things I'd like for the operating system and the hardware design of 3DS in general to improve. A lot of them should be easy for Nintendo to fix.

• Get rid of the forced region-lock. I hate having to lug two or three systems just to play gaming libraries from multiple countries. In consumer and business standpoint, it makes no sense whatsoever especially when Sony and Microsoft rendered them entirely up to the publisher with PS4 and Xbox One respectively.
• I want to be able to use my Nintendo Network ID on all systems I play without being tethered to one 3DS and one Wii U system at the same time
• Get rid of the archaic friend code and replace it with Nintendo Network ID, just like how Wii U works
• Make the netcode smarter and more stable
• Make the error messages clearer without being forced to hop on Internet looking for said error code
• I want to have a lot of StreetPasses outside of certain locations that I'm nowhere near them, without relying on Nintendo Zone hotspots; I'm sick of taking forever to complete StreetPass games because of the lack of 3DS gamers
• The 3DS eShop interface may be quite an improvement of the Wii and DSi Shop Channel, yet it's still a pain to navigate through the menu. Compare that to the Wii U eShop interface, and the 3DS now seems to be outdated
• The same thing can be said to the eShop applet when you navigate through Theme Shop. Why does it needs to waste a lot of time just to show more themes?
• Where is the SNES VC for 3DS? I've seen a homebrew software being able to emulate most of them fine and I don't see why Nintendo didn't tapped this potential.
• Even with the New 3DS, the browser is still less powerful and versatile than the old iPhone 4s
• The currently overwhelming lack of exclusive New 3DS software needs to be remedied next year; they promised that more of those games will come at some point, but none of them aside Xenoblade Chronicles and The Binding of Isaac Rebirth are shown
• The Control Pad is always placed lower than the Circle Pad, which makes 2D gaming a bit more tiresome than on many other consoles due of the lack of handles from modern controllers. It hurts relying on it from the original 3DS model, as there wasn't much space around the Control Pad where I could sit the rest of my thumb.
• The C-Stick of New 3DS XL isn't very reliable when it comes to reading inputs; just replace it with a Circle Pad instead
• New 3DS models not bundling with a Philips #00 screwdriver; some people will actually never replace their microSD card because of that
• New 3DS models not having AC Adapter worldwide; how could a newcomer get the standalone AC adapter that isn't always found in stores?
• New 3DS XL lacking cover plates; my smaller and cramped New 3DS model can do that, so the XL models should support them as well. What a huge missed opportunity!

I agree. The battery life in the regular 3DS sucks.... It's only slightly better in the XL....

I agree! I would love it if every 3DS game could take screenshots like in AC. Pokemon has a feature, sort of, but it's only in certain locations which is no good.

camera, wth??? this is worse than my grandma's flip phone

i actually prefer the 3d (on the new xl) compared to all other 3d experiences i've had... i like the idea of the 3d effect going in instead of popping out at you. however it hurts my eyes and i dont use it that much.

Change the stylus design so there isn't a thin section at the end that's easily snapped off

See, that's the thing. I'd actually prefer it if the 3D DID make it pop out at you. However, I've owned both a 3DS XL and a New 3DS XL, and neither have I seen that happen :/
