Things that make you regret choosing your town map?

I meant like one of those beaches where you have having to swim there is the only way to get on it

That's so ironic because the thing I regret about my town map is that it has a rather large "private beach" and it's annoying having to pull out my wet suit to get there.

I always want 3 bridges, but the bridges are always so close together because the river's practically straight minus one bend.
I regret where the campsite/caf?/police station have been placed. Suppose that's not much to do with it though.

Not the OP, and it's slightly off-topic, but I can explain hybrid red roses for you. They're the primary way to start breeding for blue roses. You breed a red and yellow rose to make an orange rose. Then you breed two white roses together to make a purple rose. If you breed a orange rose and a purple rose together, you have a chance of making hybrid red roses. If you breed two hybrid red roses together, you can get blue roses.

Re-Tail is north next to the Town Hall, and the river is terribly annoying. The only bridge is wayyy at the edge and it takes 20 seconds to get to the Town Hall. Not very helpful.

I regret having 3 of those stupid ponds in town instead of 1 or preferably, none. Granted, I made the most of it and turned two into an orchard of sorts, so it's not that bad.

My house and Re-Tail are in opposite corners, and my Re-Tail is also far from the railroad crossing (aka to the shopping street) which is really a pain. .__. I wish they were closer together somehow.

I think I would make my river a little bit smaller, but at the moment it is not really in the way of anything Overall I am really happy with my town, rocks and all its faults, because it took me so many resets to get it! I wouldn't give it up now.

i really hate how the waterfall cuts my beach right down the middle. I wish it was more off to the side so I had one long stretch of uninterrupted sand. I think that is literally my only regret

This. I thought it was a good idea to have Re-Tail next to the train station for some reason =.= (this is my first AC game so I didn't know any better)

My house is also right smack in the middle of the map in front of the Town Hall so it's always a trek to do anything. :T

i have like 5 ponds in the top part of my map
and 0 in the bottom

I was so excited when I got the game i just picked a map at random now I regret it because I cant see any of my waterfalls good
and my town has a bad river layout that makes my top right corner of my map useless.
