Theory: Reese & Cyrus will be implemented as special guests after June

It just strikes me as weird that they would introduce a whole new currency, that is to say the heart things Reese gives us, as well as a whole set of new items that all look pretty dang sweet, but only use those for a single month in the year.

So my theory is that Reese and Cyrus will be added as special guests à la Label and Redd and stuff. To be honest, my biggest wish would be for them to have their own floor added to the Nook Junction or something where Reese could sell stuff for us like she used to at Re-Tail, but if they could just swing by our town with some nifty items for sale, that’d be cool. Maybe Cyrus could also refurbish items we give him into the variants of other towns, further giving his heart candy currency value.

What do you think? To be honest, I just hope that Reese and Cyrus won’t just disappear for the remaining 11 months of the year.

It would be great to have them as permanent NPCs, but hopefully they're not included in the same cycle as the others. This would only serve to further lengthen the time between Redd/CJ/Flick visits, and that is not a good thing.

I’ve got a solution for that. Get rid of Label as a visitor by implementing her into an upgrade to the Able’s shop. Bam, free spot for Reese and Cyrus to join in

EDIT: Actually, you may as well toss Kicks into that upgrade too, he’s about as useless as Label, if you ask me.

I don't think it's far fetched that the heart crystals and wedding stuff is only for one month. I mean Zipper and his egg stuff was also only for one month and it also included an unique set and collectibles (eggs).

That said I would love it if the 'pacas came back with a more permanent role. Seeing them in the event made me miss them a lot and it would be nice to be able to customize stuff that we can't customize right now.
Having to trade to get different colors than the ones that stock at Nooklings is a pain in the butt.

I also wouldn't be opposed to giving them a totally new and unique role. No idea what it could be though.​

I like Kicks, but I agree that he and Label could both be incorporated into Able's. And if you add Leif to Nook's, that'd be one NPC per weekday with Redd, CJ, Flick, Saharah, and Gulliver. Keep KK on Saturday and Daisy on Sunday; boom, perfect schedule.

I agree that having currency for just the wedding event doesn't seem far-fetched. World of Warcraft does that kind of thing all the time, all the events have their own currency that takes up inventory space and is only good during the events and then if you have extra you get to store it all year until the next time the event comes around.

Hmm, that’s true... Still seems like a shame, though :/

They can easily do it, they can just make it so either Flick or CJ have a x% chance to appear on a day, let's say Friday, on top of any other visitor. They could be treated as 'bonus' visitors. Its already shown that you can have multiple visitors in a day (Saharah + Wisp, etc).

It's mostly just down to, "Will they do it?"

I think those hearts would go great for having them craft up new furniture, wall paper, and flooring. Make it to where they're the ones who create the lovely set, princess set, and gorgeous set.

I need this schedule. I actually like helping Gulliver and I want the reward you get for helping him 30 times. It's gonna take forever at this rate.

I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up surprising us with more shops at the end of the event. But I'm not getting my hopes up either.

Same. And, if you want to craft the Gundam, you either have to help him out and get the reward 30 times, picking up the single rusted part at residential services each time, or you take the 5 parts and don’t give it to him :/
