Themed Characters?

I really want to have a Zen-themed town and cute villagers to go with it? That would be very nice!
Could someone tell me the Japanese-themed characters? I mean as in appearance and house interior and exterior. Thanks a lot <3
I already know that I'd like Kabuki and Gladys. About 8 more!

Edit: I just thought of Pekoe. I don't have her but from first looks, maybe.

Chester the panda has a VERY Japanese looking house (Google image it) unfortunately he looks like something from a horror movie. Hideous villager!

Cranston? He's a crane, so maybe. Maybe Snake too, since he's a ninja. Oh, and Croque. He's Daruma themed.

I can also suggest Coco because of what she is referenced to and her house is kinda themed the way you want it.

Bill and Tom have very Asian themed houses...it actually surprised me when I saw their houses were themed that way...especially Bill lol in hindsight it made sense for Tom though.

Flip has a japanese themed interior but im not so sure about the exterior of his house.
