So I reset my second town (again) and I'm looking for help deciding on what to do with it! The name of the town is going to be Stardrop to kinda match the name of my first town, Moonbeam. However, I really need help figuring out everything else about it!

The main thing I need help with is a theme, so I can start making a dreamie list and collecting landscaping stuff. Moonbeam is a spring/summer town that's a little more modern but still with a few natural areas. I don't want to use that exact theme in Stardrop, so I was wondering if any of you lovely people had some ideas! Here are some of mine and I'd love some opinions!

- All natural town with dirt paths
- Fairytale town
- Big city town with lots of illuminated things to make nighttime really special

I'm in love with that name! It reminds me of Where the Stars Come From by Jeremiah Morelli. Here's a picture of it!

How about a fantasy-styled town with stuff to make nighttime special? Kind of a mix between your second and third ideas.

i love the name, it's really cute! i also like the idea of a city theme with lots of illuminated thins, i don't see that one nearly as often as i've seen fairytale or natural towns. i like serene's idea of fantasy/nighttime theme, like a cross between the two, that could be really magical-feeling.

Natural or Fairytale go best with your name, but if you want to be a bit more original you can choose the City theme.
If you have a lot of time to invest into the game and a lot of patience I'd definitely recommend doing the natural theme with the dirt paths. Most of my favourite towns have dirt paths. I recommend a dream town called Zwirner for some insparation if you want any ideas (if you haven't visited already) DA: 5400-5156-3738

OMG I love that name! It's adorable! I think you should do a fantasy forest theme. Like an enchanted forest. For villagers, you could have Julian (because he's a unicorn, so he'd fit in with the fantasy aspect), and maybe some of the deer villagers? Just a thought. :)

It makes me think of Neil Gaiman's Stardust. In it, there is a town on the edge of a wall that separates the world of Fairie and the earth as we know it. It is a town lost in time, with stone buildings roofed with thatch. And, beyond the wall, is an open meadow where they hold a Faire every 7 years. And, beyond that... The wonderous world of Fae.

I really like this idea! I think I'll go with it :)

Oooh, I'll go check that town out. I think a fantasy town with dirt paths and a more forest-y feel would be gorgeous. Thanks for you input, everyone!! :)

If you're looking for suggestions on what to add to the town or things like that I have a few:
I think blue hydrangea + white azaleas add a real magick / Faerie feel.
White is the colour of pureness and blue is the water element colour, it's very cleansing.
So it'd be good for a magickal feel for a town.

Also Faerie rings!
Here's a cool guide I found on how to construct them.

If you plan on saving your dream address when the Cherry Blossoms are blooming, I'd suggest getting a lot of saplings.
They are so pretty during the Cherry Blossom season.

The white carnations are also very magickal feeling for me personally. The carnations are really detailed and just gorgeous so the white carnations are really good for that pure feeling again like the white azaleas.

I'm doing a Magickal based theme in my town.
I'm doing natural dirt paths (they're starting to form) and it's coming along nicely.
It's still a long way off from being done though.

i think you could try a mix of fairytale and natural? like a cutesy, fairytale-like forest :0
stardrop sounds really cool !!
