That's what I get for going to a "Christian" private school. It was horrible. The teachers had no degrees, and some of the things they said were horrific.

Banned because well, I'll be honest, I don't believe in the whole evolution thing, but that's just me...I don't know...it's the way I was brought up, I guess. Um, but yeah. They're teaching wasn't even the horrible part. It was their morals, I guess. The things they said outside of classwork...that was the horrible part.
Banned because that's fine! You don't have to believe in it if it doesn't make sense to you. I was mostly concerned about that because a lot of teachers like to pretend the theory doesn't even exist

Banned because thanks! I was almost nervous to type that sentence, because I know how some people get about subjects such as that. I believe everyone deserves to have their own beliefs, and it's not anyone's place to tell them they're wrong, which is where my big problem came in at school.
Well, because it's a "Christian" school, of course, being gay is a horrible sin. They were having a "talk" about it one time, that sent my friend home crying. I had one teacher in P.E....my ****ing pe teacher said that if her son (who was like 3 or 4) at the time ever came out as gay, she'd lock him in the closet and beat him. Along with that the rules were ridiculous and made up on the spot. I got sent to the office for my hair being in my face, and the lady put a ****ing piece of tape in my hair. You weren't allowed to wear black fingernail polish because it means you "worship the devil". Then it changed to any "dark" fingernail polish. I had a whole two hour English class on how Halloween is really the "Devil's holiday." No dancing allowed....ever...The blatant bigotry and idiocy is what got me...It's just not healthy for growing minds questioning themselves. It's just not...I could go on for hours on how horrible of a school that was XD Sorry for my rant xD

The world doesn't revolve around you" to them. Just leave people be. I myself have a certain belief about religion, but I won't get into it. ^^ That kind of discussion if meant for somewhere other than TBT

Banned because exactly! My beliefs may be wrong, but I find security in them. So, I don't need people shoving how wrong they are down my throat. There are two discussions I refuse to get into. Those are religion and politics xD I just won't do it...Plus, I won't get into a discussion about the anything to do with the LGBTAQ community around my neighborhood, because these people around me are so deeprooted in their beliefs, that...they just piss me off xD I can't deal with it. I just can't deal.
I know! I got mad typing it!...they're horrible, and I can't wait for that school to finally get closed the **** down, and burned to the ground, or the people that own it leave, because I'm pretty sure their daughter isn't going to take over. She couldn't even teach simple algebra...Nonetheless run a whole school that's falling apart at the seams. Even though, I was bullied at public school for a whole semester (before I ended leaving it too), it was still better than that school.
Banned because you're one of the coolest people I've ever met. You stick by your own beliefs without caring about what other people think, and yet you can still acknowledge the flaws in it too. I'm sorry people have given you such a hard time about that stuff. imo as long as you're not completely close-minded or being a terrible influence (like the a**hole teachers you've mentioned), you're perfectly fine!
That school needs to be shut down. It's disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. I hope all the kids there don't get brainwashed into thinking that all those twisted viewpoints are acceptable ;A;

I'm a pretty open-minded person...I try to be at least ^-^Yes! It does! I hate it. And all of that was just in 9th grade. Like, yes, the part of a person's life, where they are more than likely questioning themselves and their sexuality have to listen to all of that. It didn't affect me, because I'm very hardheaded and strong in what I do believe, on my own....but I know it affects other young people, and it makes me sick to know that they're warping their minds and shaming them for being who they are...it's sickening.
