I'm resetting for Deirdre, and am on my fifteenth try and still haven't gotten her. @____@ Out of 21 uchis, I only have a pool of 19 to reset through--how hard can it be?

This isn't as bad as that time i tried to campsite reset, though. I reset for four hours and got mild carpal tunnel in my left hand, and still didn't find a dreamie. :')

that's so annoying omg. luckily there are only 19 for you to get through, instead of 70 something of them like some of the other personalities. once, i decided to villager reset when the personality was completely random. now that was terrible. it took me a bit over a day in total to find someone i wanted, and luckily it was my first choice too.

good luck!

I don't know how you could reset all day, omg. My hands would be killing me. @___@ I just decided to give it a rest for today, after about 50 tries.

Canberra really seems to want into my town, though. She showed up like twenty times plotted, and even came to my campsite a couple times.

Resetting the campsite is a thing of pure evil. I feel your pain. I have also spent countless hours resetting only to be visited by giant chickens and questionable gorillas.

I plot resetted for two villagers... I'm never doing it again. It didn't even take an hour to reset, but it's still so time consuming! D8

I was resetting for my most recent uchi too, and while it didn't take as long to get her as other personality types, I did manage to get Dierdre that way.

You'll get her soon enough! Just put on a show to binge watch while you plot reset. :)

Oh my god, I searched the forum just to find a thread like this to complain in I need to vent so bad right now.

I started my town this morning with a new character, just in case, to check the campsite, at around 8:00 AM. Campsite, wow! Okay, now to try to get my favorite villager into my last space.

I reset a little, on and off, throughout the work day when I had free time and nothing else to do, but work overall fill about 7 hours. Since then, I've reset this campsite pretty steadily all day... all day... it's 1:00 AM and Coco WHY COCO WHY ARE YOU NOT COMING TO ME WHY. I've had like eight villagers show up on me twice, and a handful of tier 1-tier 2s. Zucker, Julian THREE TIMES, Lolly, Marshall, Beau, Bam, Poppy, Bob, Apollo, Tia! I even got other villagers on my dream-list for my town, but I just don't have space for more than one more, so, bye bye everybody!

I am so tired and every time I walk into that stupid tent with growing trepidation and I just. Want. COCO. PLEASE, COCO, PLEASE. I promise I'll never try to reset-trick like this crazy person again if you just don't make this whole day a total waste!
.
I feel like I will have to see every other villager in the game, twice, before I finally get Coco to show up. I knew it would be difficult, basically a raffle, but I didn't think it would be this stressful.

I don't know how other people manage to do this in any regular fashion for their dream towns or whatever. It sounds like hell rather than paradise to me.

I tried every possible way of resetting the campsite and cycling for a good two months looking for Kyle. It's hellish. Let's hope you won't have to deal with your dreamie finally camping when you have 10 villagers. That's when I threw the towel in (wasn't the only thing I threw) and just adopted him from this site lmao

Hmm I always get through villager resetting new towns really fast. I guess if there's only one of each personality you want it could be annoying. I think it took me an afternoon to get 8/10 though, so it depends how quickly you get bored.

gem83, I've followed in your footsteps, hahaha.

My campsite was a bust, and so was the entirety of my day. I accidentally logged into my mayor account at around 2:30 AM after finding a distraction with TV, which was apparently too distracting for me. I failed in my Coco endeavors, though at least unlike with regular village plot resetting, I didn't accidentally get stuck with the wrong villager like I did with Ed... at least there's that... It was really upsetting last night, and wasting my AC day was such a bummer.

I saw Coco moving out in the villager trading area, so I decided to dive for it before I got some unhappy accident and, I don't know, streetpassed the one Korean brat in all of Gimcheon with ACNL with some random villager in their void, hahaha. I don't think it was the most satisfying method to get her, but there's something unique about inviting her from another town too.

I'm going to avoid trying to be so picky with any other villagers, at least for a while, and just enjoy my game and my current villagers until someone moves out naturally. Since my town is so new and I haven't played in so long, I really want to enjoy all the new-town and everyday tasks a little more. Maybe later, I'll mentally recuperate from this and try for another favorite villager haha.

Congrats on finding Coco!

You'll be so happy to have her, and it is nice that she will find such a nice home in your town.

Now you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy!!

- and having Coco on Halloween will be super fun I can imagine!

That sounds terrible. D: I hope you can manage to get Coco soon, Ali. :(

Ah-- nevermind. I saw you got her. I just saw your first post here. ^^"

Omfg yes this is why it took 2 months and finding him camping when I had 10 villagers to finally push me to adopt Kyle from the trading plaza. I wanted the satisfaction of getting him myself lmao but it all worked out

Hahaha, thank you so much, everyone. I ended up making a cute little story for Coco's circumstances in my mind, and I'm not too picky in where villagers are, so the very first plot-check this morning was good, so she's moving in tomorrow and I'm so pleased! I want to put a cute PWP around her house, but I don't have many PWPs yet. If Chevre doesn't suggest a fairy-style PWP today, I'll stick with the flowerbed for now and give her a field of yellow tulips =) .

SnuggleMyBunnie, that's getting rough, hahaha. I heard some people say that they believe completely shutting down their 3DS and starting again helps to get more variety in plotting, because they believe it helps clear any potential extra data or something, I'm not sure. I can't say that it's real or not, but maybe you could try it.
