The update makes me want to start a new town (with a new cartridge)

I have 2 cartridges right now. One is my original town with a variety of villagers. My second is a forest town that I want full of forest animals. Now it would be sooooo easy to have a town of cat villagers that I really, really want to start a new town and do that. I could have Lolly and Bob and Ankha and...

This is insane. I don't have time for this!

I really wanna restart just because Tom Nook buys your town... I wanna see how much money my town is worth but I could never restart, I love my town so much. I'll probably sell my cycling town one day though, just because I'm curious, lol

If your town fits the requirements, (5 bundles of leaves, https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/794336010209411072 ) then tom nook will show you a preview of how much your town will cost and then you could just turn it off before you go on any further - apparently he asks you whether you're sure you want to reset your town, but I didn't get to that part since I was too scared, haha.

I'm too afraid to even look, in case something goes wrong and I accidentally sell it. I have so much time invested, and so many special items. No way am I restarting my town.
