This looks super-awesome and that size of beach is basically all I want! Doesn't have to be any bigger to make me happy! Just...a bit more than what I have right now! I think this seems sooooo cozy and cute!

I have this exact same tiny beach. I despise it. I planted a single coconut tree there and called it a day.

One time, my daily bottle spawned there and I drove myself crazy checking and rechecking all beaches until the tiny beach came into my sight by accident and there it was. So now I have to check it when I'm doing my eastern beach run...

It doesn't bother me enough to reset though. I'm a lot less particular than some people here about the details of my island

Glad someone else is not a fan. I resetted so many hours to finally get a map I liked with a private beach and then felt stupid for being disappointed with it, but there's just nothing I can really do with it. And I noticed as well by now that things can spawn there, which is even dumber because if it's already so small I can't do anything with it, I don't want anything to do with it at all.
But yes. I am very nitpicky when it comes to my island and it's my downfall.

I definitely want to make my peninsula a cliff, too, though not a lighthouse area (I'm making a non-technology island). The park idea sounds really, really neat! I definitely want to make a ramp leading down from the cliff in the back to the beach (hence me making the peninsula a cliff and blocking the beach off is not an issue), but I'm not even sure if the thin beach would allow for it. But yeah, a park while making the peninsula a cliff at the same time would be difficult to do. Unless you can make it somehow look good to maybe make a small waterfall come down the peninsula towards the beach, but from my last island I know that peninsulas are not super-good for waterfalls since the cliffs can't be made wide enough to look good with water on them. But of course that's just my opinion.

Not sure where your “technology” cut off is, but lighthouses have been around at least 2500 years—the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians built them.

Okay, maybe I phrased that really badly (and I also didn't know that fact). I meant more like I want a very natural area, with lots of garden log chairs instead of iron ones and stuff like that. My town part won't have normal paths, either, but just custom stepping stones, for example, so it'll be very rural and a lighthouse with a rotating light just doesn't really fit the theme.

My lighthouses on both islands I had so far were black and white, so not even a good color for a purple-and-pink island theme like I have planned. I know there's other colors, but sadly no purple, so...there's nothing the lighthouses have going for them for me, sadly. Wish we could customize them!
