The things I would do to get PWP

I was doing this to Monty the other day so I could get him to suggest Zen Projects...

Then I had a genius idea.

I had just gotten enough funds for my lighthouse, and so I timeskipped a day, dug some holes around the lighthouse, and then asked Isabelle to commemorate the finishing of the lighthouse...

After it was done, my plan succeeded. ALL OF THEM ARE TRAPPED. THEY BETTER SUGGEST MORE PWPs FOR ME.

did it work? usually when i do the wetsuit trick they just ask for new catchphrases or dumb questions

Yes it does! Unfortunately it wouldn't avoid those stupid catchphrases and simple gifts, but it opens up a variety of PWP possibilities as opposed to just trapping one person (although!! If you only want a specific PWP type like Fairy Tail or Zen, trapping one person in a place where others can't see you is the better choice).

It takes a while still, and I got a stupid yield sign as a suggestion >.> but if you do it enough and consistently, I'm sure they'll suggest a lot of stuff!

I trap certain villagers too lol but I never thought of the "trap them during the ceremony" idea lol (hmm might try it though..)

I used to collect my villagers on bridges ~ digging holes on one side of the bridge and they then try to cross it at some point and I come along and fill in the other side later. Most of my towns have most of the animals living on one side of the bridges to make this easier. I imagine it won't work so well in an evenly split town.

You can cut out the random gift exchanges by filling your pockets with flowers and shells. ;D Still have pesky catchphrases though.
