No, he just said that one thing because the guy interviewing asked him to say one word or phrase after each game he said. (he also said Pikmin, NSMB2, some others...)

yah really? people waited 10 years for a mario sidescroller, got, have beaten it every way imaginable by now, and are probably ithcing for more of the old-new mario games. I am, at least.

EDIT: i just download smb2 for VC. i r basking in old skool mario love.
