It had been 2 days since Oscar's father had woken up from the coma. Oscar was now at home, back in his cabana room. He brushed off some dust on his desk. He hadn't been here for a while. The memories of staying with Aunt Martha were vivid, it was as if they had been seared into his brain. Last time he saw her was when he left for school, the morning of the earthquake. The night before she had actually tryed to hurt him-He had ended up dashing up a flight of creaky stairs. She had almost got him, who knows what would have happened. The octopus relaxed as he peacefully reminesced. He felt proud when he slammed the door in her face! Of course, oh the sastifaction. As he closed the door, her face was red with rage, and her lips were pursed and that shiny thing dangling...
He sat up, eyes wide. What was that shiny thing on her neck? He wracked his thoughts. It was a neckalce, a gold chained one. But, what was on it?
"Oscar!" His dad called from downstairs, his voice muffled through the floor.
"Coming!" Oscar answered. They were going to Martha's to get his stuff, he had left it there. Maybe he'll discover something interesting there...
