The Rune Factory Discussion Thread

As the title says, This thread is to discuss Rune Factory.
The Harvest Moon fighting/farming spin off game.
Love it or Hate it!
This game has become popular with alot of gamers.
Being mainly available for either Wii and DS nintendo systems.
Some discussions by Natsume suggest a possible 3DS version maybe in the process of being translated from the japanese version.

I hope so. Rune Factory 4 looks pretty good, and I'd love for it to be translated. I was going to import it, but then I figured out the 3DS is flipping region blocked. =/

I'm not a Rune Factory fan.
I played frontier for a month but I didn't like the fighting aspect of it.
I loved the cute wooly monster but I couldn't get one to be my friend.
Raguna was cute and I liked most of the other characters too.
Mist though....... what a ditzy girl! She annoyed me!

Frontier was okay. It kinda strayed away from the Rune Factory feel. If you can find it anywhere, you should try out Rune Factory 1 or 2. They stick to the Harvest Moon type gameplay, but add in that other stuff. It's also easier to figure things out on 1&2, and they are by far my favorite ones.

I think Frontier also had that lame Runey system that alot of people hated.
Someone told me that Mist is getting 2 to more of a Ditz with each game.
I'm thinking of getting Tides of Destiny..... but I'm not sure.
I'm not a fighter game type of person normally.

I really liked the original, but I could never really get into two. I hated how they limited the dungeons until you played as your kid. Frontier was interesting, but I hate the runeys. I've been meaning to go back and finish both, but I doubt I'll get around to it.

I'm trying to figure out what to try next.

I had Frontier but it seemed to hard to do alot of things.
Being a guy is okay.
I didn't care that you had to be a guy.
Raguna was super cute too + being him was great.
I'm just more a cute game player than a fighting game player.
I only got Frontier because my boyfriend asked me to try playing it.
I got bored when I saw it had little to no Farming in it.
