I reset yesterday and it's been a dream come true ๑ˊૢᵕˋૢ๑ I had buckled in for the reset re-roll session but got my ideal island on the first roll, complete with peaches! And my first mystery villager was Merengue! All this luck canceling out that grind has me feeling actually excited to play again~!

On Indefinite Hiatus
After taking a three month hiatus, I finally reset my island. The only things I didn't want was a green airport.
So I reset three times this morning and I got
- Peaches
- Blue Airport
- Large Peninsula
- Katt and Peirce as starters
- Small dock
I'm happy. Since this is a minimal to no terraforming island, the rivers naturally forming an island in the middle, made this a great choice for me.

I started fresh on my Switch and reset my island too! I didn't keep track because it was over a few days, so I don't know how many resets I did.

Congratulations on completing your museum! I haven't done that yet
Have fun with restarting . I am going to start a new island on my switch 2. I love the two islands I have on my lites too much to restart them. Starting a new island with the update sounds fun.
Went with first roll of 4 choice islands.

Dislike the double south waterfalls but I think I can make it work. Now for some treasure maps

I reset my island so long ago because I couldn't get rid of the second house on the island. So I reset it and looking forward to the hotel!
Im less restarting and more just starting as I've not set up an island on my switch 2 yet and so will just start from scratch there.
The big question is, now or in January?
I want the full 3.0 experience. Will the early game be changed at all? Who knows yet. So i think I'll wait. Which sadly means both a long wait and starting an island in snow.
i got a switch 2 and decided to not transfer my island, but make a new one for the 3.0 update! my goal is to NEVER reset this island, but we will see if i can manage my restartitis. :')
finding the exact map i wanted took awhile haha. i wanted THIS specific map, a large peninsula, and a yellow or blue airport. AND i needed cherries because i like the pink drink the villagers carry around and the icon on the passport. it was soo heartbreaking to reset again when i saw a different fruit. also this map did NOT want to spawn lol. not my most painful map reset, even in NH, but definitely took a long time.
