I don't love the plaza, either. I think it was a good idea, I like the concept, but in reality it sits empty a lot and is difficult to decorate.

I don't mind the way the plaza gets used, however, I would love to see some options to be able to change the whole design of it, just to make it fit better with your own island's theme. At least some color variations would be nice. Otherwise, I already accepted the fact that you can't drop any items there, as much as this still kinda bothers me sometimes.

I'm not a huge fan of the plaza either, you'd be hard pressed to find an overwhelming amount of love for it by many AC players I think. There's just too many things about it that bother me: position on the island/can't move it, lack of customization and weird color brick, the NPCs are in the way, can't put stuff down on it, etc. If they're not going to let us move it, at least let us customize it to our theme! I'd love to be able to put custom designs on it!

I actually like th plaza. I wish more things like the benches and such would appear there more frequently though. I also happen to like that K.K. performs there. It's like his lil' spot. However, my one issue with that....
Does he have to sit RIGHT in front of the door? Like it just seems so oddly close that at first I almost didn't think I could go in when he was there.

I don't mind the way the plaza is being used (although I would like it if more NPC's had their own shop or place in nooks cranny/able's).
I believe in new leaf you were able to pick between a few different styles for certain buildings, correct? I am hoping we will be able to do that in the future. Now we are able to so much more with the outside, we should be able to match Resident Services and the shops.

I'm pretty neutral with it. don't like that we can't put stuff around it unfortunately but it does do it's job of being a common meeting place pretty well. I do think being able to customize it and being able to move it in the future would be great improvements.
It just makes me think it's a fire hazard, lol. Just the fact how everyone congregates there.
From a design point, it makes sense but big events make it tight like KK Slider or the fireworks event. Yeah, I don't know.

The plaza just annoyes me it’s just this massive brick area where I can see so many things I would add to make it look amazing. Every time I walked past I just wanna put a massive fountain right in the middle to kinda take up all the brick.

I dont mind npc like Kicks setting shop there, kinda wish saharah too would stay put there instead of walking all over my island but it suits her to wander around. I agree with you about prefering it to be customizble, just the colors of the bricks at least.

The plaza is just to plain and boring for me to much brick. I wish we could at least pick the colour of the brick we want that matches the island theme.
I feel very certian that we will eventually get to customize RS/plaza. I mean, the light poles don't match what people have in their town unless they have the black ones. I also find it hard to believe to have as much customization options for the outside of our house and not have any options whatsoever for RS.
I know I will like it better when I can customize it.
(also wondering if the dark palm trees inside the museum will be banana trees they will add later??)
I totally agree Leif needs his own building. He can run a greenhouse and allow us to store some of our flowers and bushes. With upgrades by helping him to build it bigger, perhaps will can hold up to 50 plants total for us. ( I mean nintendo needs to do something about some plant storage if they expect us to build and tear down our island over and over, and more importantly getting rid of mass amounts of plants, lawn mower have a function plz!)
Kicks I kinda like how he "travels around". I think it would be nice for KK to have his own spot on the island, like setting up a small stage area. I'd put mine on the beach with tiki torches or a bond fire.
I know I will like it better when I can customize it.

The worst is having K.K. Slider crowded in front of the doors to Resident Services.
It feels rather cheap.
Remember—getting to 3 stars triggered K.K.’s willingness to come to your island regularly.
I agree with you—I am also tired of it.
I want a consolidation of some buildings and the establishing of at least one more building.
I want to minimize usage of that corner.
I certainly want Brewster, when we finally get him, to have a building of his own—it would be appalling having him with a corner business.

Who thought the plaza would be a good place for fireworks in ACNH? The building blocked the view. Villagers were sitting on the bench cheering for fireworks they couldn't see.
I wish we could change the plaza pathway colour and building.

I like the idea of customizing it as well. I mean if someone has a forest themed island, a brick plaza just wouldn't look right.
But then again, since they are releasing this game in installments, we might end up with an option later to be able to customize.
