I just added everybody here. If you could add me back, that would be fantastic. Just as an FYI, I just started. So, my town is somewhat lacking. If you like trees, then it's the place for you. Gotta fund more projects. Should not have started with the reset center. I'm not even sure what that does. i just like the mole.

You also get the opportunity for a golden shovel from him, I think. If you added me, I wouldn't mind coming over and giving you some other fruit. I'll help with your reset center too! =)

I turned 22 a few weeks ago. I've played Animal Crossing since Gamecube but wasn't really hooked until City Folk came out.

To be honest, I'm not surprised that there's an older crowd playing this game. Animal Crossing came out in 2001, when most of us 20 year olds were in our early teens, and started coming fans back then. We were relatively familiar and/or dedicated fans by the time New Leaf came out.

However teenagers who now play New Leaf, could have been toddlers when Animal Crossing came out. So it's less likely that they grew up with the series and became fans to the point to post on AC forums.

I'm 46. This is my first experience with Animal Crossing. I grew up in the ’80s, when Atari was all the rage and my friends were obsessed with Pac Man and Donkey Kong in the arcades. I wasn’t much into gaming then.

However, back in ’98 I was working overnight shifts at a help desk for PC support. One of the guys who worked there was super into gaming and he was downloading things called “roms,” which I hadn’t heard of at the time. This was the time when Pok?mon first exploded in America. I had no idea what it was, but I couldn’t help but hear about it. As fate would have it, Pok?mon was one of the roms available. I downloaded it out of curiosity. I was hooked almost immediately. I got my own Gameboy and legit retail carts of Pok?mon Red and Blue. I’ve been hooked on Pok?mon ever since.

With Pok?mon X and Y coming out in a few months, and having explored what Pok?mon Black 2 and White 2 had to offer, I was looking for a game to amuse me until October. Animal Crossing hit at the right time. I had never heard of it until shortly before it was released, but it seemed a lot of people were excited about it, so I decided to buy it—and now here I am, giving away villagers and looking for favorites of my own.

I’m getting married next June and my husband-to-be thinks I’m nuts. He’s not a gamer at all and doesn’t understand why I love these games so much. I think if he played, he’d get it—but he won’t even try. He says I’m like the child he never had.

I have been playing Animal Crossing since the Game Cube days and have loved all the versions I've played. I think NL is totally awesome. I'm late to the game, just bought my 3DS and the game 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Never really got into gaming except for AC and a Pern MUD when I was in college.
I'm into mixed media, altered art journaling, jewelry making, and embroidery; but I do that for me.
Rather than watch much TV, I'm into k-dramas, c-dramas, j-dramas and Bollywood.
I love different languages, food, and culture. I'd love to travel more than I do.

As for my NL town,
Use common sense, don't trash it.
Also, I do time travel, but it's because sometimes I play weird hours, or I've pretty much done everything I can for the day, so I skip ahead to night or the next day. I don't TT multiple days ahead or to the past.

I'm Kimberly, 23 years old from California, US. This September I'll be in my last quarter of university, after which I will have a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. I've loved games since I was young; however, I tend to be more picky than not about which games I do like. My absolute favorite series are Pokemon, Harvest Moon/Rune Factory, and Animal Crosssing. I also quite like the Etrian Odysessy series. I am a regular volunteer at my local animal shelter where I work adoptions, customer service, and with the cats (behavior assessment & modification, as well as enrichment). I also like to dabble in learning foreign languages. As per usual I like to read, watch movies & TV, listen to music, etc.

I'm definitely up for some AC fun! Let me know if you add me.
I only time travel a couple hours if necessary to play at a "normal" game time.
