I want to know how does the character feel pain getting bitten, because l got bitten before multiple times and it never hurts. But it is annoying and the music is too.

Pretty sure it just says "itchy itchy itchy!" or some variation of that in New Leaf. Presumably, they just notice that wherever they got bit starts to feel itchy and notice a bump or something on it.

I was pretty indifferent to them, then was stargazing once and it bit me just as some shooting stars finally appeared. now I reall get annoyed by them

I agree, they're really annoying I don't like the sound effect that plays when you get bitten either.

There’s a sound effect? I must have the volume on less than I thought

Yep as soon as I look away or put the game down for a minute a mosquito seems to know and comes my way.
