The Max Villagers

.. the max is 10? Because since I got this game, I've only had nine villagers. I don't know why. Do I have to use the campsite for the tenth one or can I go find my dream villager?
I did just complete the campsite, but it'd be nice to know if I have to use it for the sole purpose of getting a tenth villager..

Yea, the 10th villager won't move in automatically. The 10th can come from either a campsite or someone else's town, whether it's by intentionally inviting a moving villager from one town to yours, or randomly through StreetPass or simply visiting/having someone visit.

The campsite can be used to get your dream villager, however, if you're willing to reset enough times with a new character to generate new campers, hoping for one you want (took me 12 hours work of resetting to get Diana). Good luck!

Oh Gosh, I'll need to look into resetting then. T_T Alright, that's fine.. I just hope I can set up my town right so they don't move in an important place.

No problem~ And resetting for good plots is at least much easier and less painful than resetting for campers. On my quest to get a dreamie like Diana, I had to pass up on Merengue. x_x That said, resetting for Diana's plot was simple enough. In both cases, resetting is worth it if you have the patience for it. ^^
