So i just like to stalk random people on the villager trading plaza. and i have a few of my own sales.
so it boggles my mind to see that on the village popularity that some things might actually be more popular than others or maybe it's just my experience?
cuz for example i've sold both merengue and fauna. merengue is the 5th most popular in tier 1 and though i didn't sell her when she was in boxes, i only got up to 85tbt. not that it bad or anything.
and then take fauna for example. i did post her only when i knew she was moving and one person was already there like 2 seconds later asking for 50tbt. i accepted that though i think i probably could have gotten higher if i actually waited.
and now i am selling stitches who is higher than fauna but not merengue. and i haven't even had him ask to leave yet. and yet someone is betting 160tbt for him already.
so i'm just kind of laughing at that logic XD. it's just funny to me... how about anyone else?

I was only going so high because he's for my Mum :) He's turned up in today's campsite though so have withdrawn my offer.

But, I have seen it happen before with other villagers. Maybe it's like me and it's what that villager is worth to the person who is on at the time?

I've accepted low payments for high tier just because I didn't feel like waiting around for the next cycle when I am trying to get a dreamie for my own town. For example, Stitches was sold for only 35 tbt last week because I didn't want to wait.

Also, low traffic times vs. high traffic times in the forum can affect final selling price daily.

So it can vary, and I know that some cyclers don't want to charge or accept much TBT because they want newer members to have a chance. Often they are free as well.
