The little things that bug you and weird habits...

I have to (no matter how the weather condition is) have the ac on when I sleep and cuddle warmly in my blanket
I cannot stand sleeping with clothes on, it bugs me
The bathroom door has to be closed, all the lights off, and my DS next to me

(it really scares me when the light is off and the bathroom door is open, I just cant sleep!)

I'm the same with all doors in my house. ;-; It creeps me out.

When cranky people on the subway tell me off for not giving them my seat on the subway. I usually give up my seat for those who actually need it like an insanely pregnant lady or someone with bags of groceries or an old person with a cane. But not some random who is shouting at me for being disrespectful. I get less of that in America but in Korean subways I'd always get **** for not giving up my seats and they are barely even middle aged...

When I first start up Animal Crossing, I can't stand the beeping of my mail box. I have to turn off the sound & sort my mail asap. Even the mail box flashing ugh, drives me nuts.

When people say they listen to metal and love it but don't mention any of the classics, like 'Maiden, 'Priest, Mot?rhead, etc. or even death metal or thrash for that matter. If they do like metal it's almost always entirely nu metal, metalcore, deathcore, and post-black album Metallica....like, seriously? Okay I know everyone has their tastes so I'm sorry if I may have offended anyone but I just wish I knew more people who listened to my kind of metal, all the classic thrash, power, death, etc. metal bands, not just **** like P.O.D., Slipknot, Bring Me the Horizon etc.

...again, sorry if I offended anyone but this is personal venting...just wanna know more people who have commonality y'know?

I love metal, but I don't listen much to the classics or to the bands you mentioned ^^;.

I will listen to any metal from Power Metal to Black metal. Usually how old they are doesn't really matter. I actually prefer the "rougher" metal over power metal and the like (I know, I tend to surprise myself with that taste hahaha). I can say Power Metal, "Speed" metal, and Thrash Metal are probably my least liked subgenres. I have a licking for metals like Darkthrone, Immortal, Hypocrisy, Paradise Lost, and so on. My absolute favorite metal is Symphonic Metal when blended with Death or Black. I have been obsessed with Carach Angren for a while, and really getting into Septicflesh (their last two albums are great! And the teasers for the next one actually kills any bit of patience on me - I just want it now). Also the latest Epica single is just so good.

That is not to say that I "hate" power or thrash. I will listen to them if they come in the radio someday and there's nothing else to do, but I wouldn't play such bands willingly, on my own phone or while using the computer. The same goes with classic metal bands such as Iron Maiden and Mot?rhead. Buuut if it counts I love Lemmy. x.X

I think people are free to listen to what they want and label themselves as they see themselves. As much as I like metal I actually wouldn't call myself a "metalhead". My brothers also hate it when they see "kids" in the streets wearing Asking Alexandria shirts and calling themselves metalheads, but it doesn't really bother me. I won't judge people based on their personal judgements of themselves so it doesn't matter if they are "too deviated of the metal norm" (like my oldest brother called it once hahaha).

Hahaha now to stay on topic, I hate it when my dad, my brothers, and I are labelled devil worshipers because we love metal. My family comes from long chains of freethinkers and we are just an atheist family enjoying life. We don't worship any gods or demons and I really wish people would stop thinking so. x_X This isn't a problem where we live, but when we go to places like the USA it's hard to come out of a record store carrying your newly black metal CD.

When people ask "are you okay" and slap my name on it somewhere. Like, "are you okay, x"?

I have absolutely no idea why it pulls on all my nerves, despite it being a kind gesture. As soon as my name comes out of their mouth/is typed when they're saying something along the lines of "you okay", I feel like this nasty, jagged, gutted annoyance. Literally to the point where it'll put me in a bad mood for hours.

I realize it's a very nice thing to ask someone so I don't outwardly reply in a bad manner but it really- I can't explain it haha. I even hate typing it out.

Worse, the kinder their voice, the more it kills me. I'd rather have a drill sergeant go ARE YOU OKAY, X rather than a close friend of mine soften their voice AAAAAAAAAAAAAA oh god cannot think about that too long

Reminds me of this time I was sitting on the bus in one of the further up seats, and this lady, probably around 40 something, comes up to me with her beady little eyes demanding that I move, because older people are supposed to sit up front. I moved because I hate confrontation over something so stupid, but I mostly moved because I could tell she was heavily on drugs. I'm sure you probably know what I'm talking about living in a city with public transportation. I used to see it so often when I was traveling from town to town.

People like that really creep me out.

OH

Also speaking about public transportation, I've run into so many people who want to initiate small talk with you, and when you really don't want to do it, they get mad at you. Sigh zzzz

When people ask if my breasts are real. I find it insulting, intrusive, disrespectful, and tactless. Not to mention embarrassing. I don't mind talking about it here, because nobody can actually see me, but when someone in person asks me if they're real (it's happened 5-6 times) it suggests they've spent ample time looking at them and that's not okay. I realize that if you wear certain types of clothing it draws attention to that region, and I don't wear those types of clothing in my everyday life. So it's baffling. I wouldn't be able to function with foreign materials shoved in my body for the purposes of vanity. If they were helping keep me alive, that's another story.

When people stand in front of you and have conversation, but get all mad at you just because you're looking/listening to their convo... like seriously... why are you guys standing in front of me in first place then?
