I keep a respectable distance from the two women; close enough to see them but not close enough to hear what they're saying.

".... It's been 5 years, Faye. People change, it's normal." I say softly. "Heck, Scott and I didn't even recognize each other until a while after I became pregnant."

I frown when I notice Itsuki gone.

I go back and find her, dressed in some new clothes. "Y-You look er... pretty."

"Yeah... but I don't like him like that. I just... miss our friendship..." I sigh. "I don't think I could handle opening myself up to him again... He seems so different too yet the same."

I check my watch. ****... My shift starts soon. I call out to the two ladies, "I hate to do this but I have to leave. Will you two be okay?" I hope so... I hate seeing people upset... It justs hurts me as much as it hurts them...

I walk closer to the two and say, "I work two jobs. During the day, I work at the port. At night, I'm a bartender. It's not much but at least it pays the bills..." I sigh.
