"Who cares? We scared them good." I reach my hand out and squeeze Mitchell's hand. "Next time, we'll kill them."

I rest my head on his shoulder and say softly, "I don't know what I'd do if you died..."

"You'd probably be the one to kill me." I joke.

I hand her a menu.
