yeah, I was surprised but it makes sense that the game is counting your actual purchases, not your plants. I definitely got the badge for buying, I hadn't planted anything I'd bought at all -- just perfect fruit trees from my own fruit.

Once again, thank you so much. I've already started the plant buying spree. lol. I definitely have no room to plant them.
