Energizer's pink bunny mascot wasn't completely original and they basically stole the concept from Duracell when their trademark had expired.
Duracell hasn't been allowed to use their mascot in the U.S. or Canada due to this.

You’ve never heard of Polkamon? Every Pokémon fan has heard a clip of that song at least once in their life. Even I know that song and I don’t even really like Weird Al’s music that much.

I actually forgot it was a thing. It's fine that you never knew about it. Not knowing something doesn't make you not a fan. It's just something new to you that you can now appreciate and enjoy for the first time

It would be funny if he decided to do a new version and as time went on he ran out of breath and enthusiasm
