So I was chatting with a friend of mine who also plays ACNH and we starting talking about Redd and his paintings... She brought up how he had a painting of a woman with an earring, but it was fake because the earring was in the shape of a star and I was like "omg I know which one you're talking about!! I knew exactly what painting it was and what it would look like, as in art school last year we were tasked with doing a master copy of a masterwork, and I was given the painting Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. I showed my friend my charcoal piece, and thought I'd show the lovely folks here as well (my piece is at a bit of an angle) 
Idk this is just part of the reason why i love the art update so much... I LOVE investigating and researching the paintings and deciding which is real or fake on my own ☺
