I swear to god serena that this game know about my previous villagers.I restarted my 2nd town a couple times to see what villagers I get.
One time it gives me Knox and sterling,who is in my main town.
Another time it gives me kid cat
Another time it gives me big top
Another time it gives me stitches and groucho,who were in my main town
THIS time it gives me sterling...
I swear this game knows

It's not the game, your villagers were tricked by Tom Nook into thinking that when a town is reset they get a chocolate biscuit :c so they keep hiring Nook to drive them to your resetting game hoping they can get a biscuit *~*
