Does anyone know where i can get a regular DS like the first one, my neice got ahold of mine and for some reason now it wont work...sad day but i got a light and i dont like it as much as the regular one, so any help on where i should look?

Why would you take an original DS over a DS Lite?! The DS Lite is better in every way! Brighter screen, bigger stylus, more compact... It's just better in every way! And the DSi and DSi XL are even better than the DS Lite. But if you really want an original DS, it's gonna be hard to find. Nintendo doesn't sell them anymore, so you'd have to buy a used one somewhere.

They sell them everywhere in Australia. I see them everytime I go shopping. They cost like $98. Not that much.

That's about 90 dollars American, which is stupidly high for a piece of hardware from 2004.

Use your imagination.

I meant to quote the post above you. Or maybe I thought you should ask, "Used, new, or Australian?"

They're new.
That's weird... I didn't think Nintendo even made them anymore. They probably don't, and those ones for sale are probably just old ones that never got sold.

Why would they, with the DS Lite, DSi, and now DSi XL available? Or maybe the DS just isn't as popular in Australia, lol.

I prefer my first DS over the Lites too.
not sure where you could find one though, maybe gamestop or a pawn shop.
