The fireworks show is AMAZING!

My first fireworks show just began and it’s 100% my favourite event we’ve had in the game so far! It’s absolutely beautiful in the sunset and you don’t even have to be looking up at the sky for the fireworks to light up the island. Lucy even came up to me and gave me a sparkler!

Obviously there’s not that much to do but I just enjoy for once having all your villagers are in the same place enjoying themselves. Can’t wait for the rest of the shows!

In my country we only do fireworks for new year so all while moving around my island I get happy new year vibes. hahaha I love fireworks so much. Love it! one event I might tt back to when august is over. <3

The villagers have different dialogues when the event has 1 hour left and they have a single conclusion-style dialogue after 12am. Isabelle also has a few dialogues after the event finished too.

Remember to look up the sky at the last minute of the fireworks show, which is 11.59pm, the fireworks keep on shooting non-stop.

I really enjoy watching fireworks in real life but seldom get to do so (I only really get to see the huge and flashy ones maybe twice a year!), so it’s a no-brainer that I really enjoyed my first fireworks show in-game! I wasn’t able to prepare custom fireworks but it was still fun and though I wish there was more to it (maybe actual mini games to win the prizes from Redd? Just not anything like the frustrating ones we get from campsite visitors please lol), it was still fun!
Looking forward to next Sunday. :3

I LOVE the fireworks festival!! I've always liked it in the AC games but with NH's graphics they just look so good! And I love how the villagers use sparklers now!

I do have one tiny complaint though. I was hoping they'd remix ACNL's fireworks theme like they did with bunny day, the new song isn't as exciting and emotional as NL's. But I still like it.

The lighting is really cool, but after I'd watched a few fireworks go up and got some pretty useless items from Redd, I was done.

It seems to stop the villagers from crafting any DIYs too, which is annoying.

I'm just seeing them for the first time in my game right now (I normally TT ahead, but I've been busy lately with meteor showers, so I'm experiencing them for the first time alongside a lot of you ) and I'm LOVING them! The fireworks are pretty, but my villagers are so adorable as they cheer for them and play with sparklers! Chevre even gave me a sparkler to play with, too

Seriously, I LOVE how lively this event is! It reminds me of how all the villagers got dressed up for Bunny Day. When my villagers get excited, I can't help but get excited, too

I agree about the DIY thing. I think I noticed that on the days of bug and fishing tourneys too; when there's a big event, no villagers crafting. Seems silly to me especially since the villagers aren't at the events for every minute.

I enjoyed the fireworks in NH because it was higher quality with the lighting and stuff.
I also enjoyed a few prizes from it.
