Hey i was wondering if anyones played Oblivion because im thinking about getting it,yeah so how is it if i do im going to mod a few of the textures to make it brighter and more detailed but yeah how is it?

Surely one of the best games I have ever played. If you do get it I recommend an online guide, as it is quite confusing.

Guides are for wimps. With a game like Oblivion, play it normally. Go across the Map exploring, questing.
If a quest is too hard for you, move on, try another one and come back to it later on.

Personally, I didn't like it. I'm a graphicswhore, and the player models and textures were really ugly. If the only thing you care about is gameplay though, go right ahead.

I'm not a hardcore gamer and get stuck on a lot of crap, sooo... I turn to guides. =D

You miss out on alot of the game then. You ruin it for yourself but not really doing what's needed of you to complete the level, complete a quest, whatever it may be.
You're really cheating yourself out of money this way. The games aren't worth as much as they would if you were to complete them by yourself.

Dude.

Oblivion is one of my favorite games! You have to get it!

If you can, buy it for the PC. I'm about to start making Mt. Cornet from Pokemon on there with the Construction Set!

See? I'm right and you know it.

Also, the game is great. Such a lengthy game, you'll have alot of fun on it.

**I play games until I'm stuck. Then I use guides=D

i have oblivion, but it doesnt keep my attention for very long, i often find myself very bored after a day or 2 of playing then i dont touch it for months.

It's wonderful. There always seems to be something to do. I'd recommend purchasing the Game of the Year edition, for the Add-ons. That adds tons of content on top of all the stuff already available.

It can be, as the game doesn't tell you how to get all the othere special extra pro crap.

If that's what you call special items in the game, you really shouldn't play something like that.
