The dreamies! How did you get yours?

But what about you? How did you get your dreamie? Might as well share to our acnl community

I got my dreamie marshal in a trade and I got stitches from a campsite

Most of them I obtained from trades, a few just moved in by themselves <3
(And yes, my signature is really outdated)

Most from trades here. Pietro/Molly were very lucky move ins (Molly was a starting villager/Pietro was my first move in)
Chevre/Sprinkle/Punchy i got from cyclers (Sprinkle/Punchy from the same cycler)
Chief i got from a giveaway (wasn't sure if i'd like him too much but i've grow very fond of him)
Muffy/Willow/Marina i bought from other users that weren't cyclers. (Marina's previous owner was but never made a thread about it and is a friend of mine)
Beau was moved over from my second town, Palette, with the help of a cycler since i can't move between towns by myself since i only have 1 3ds xl.

I actually got most of the ones in my main town for free. I bought Rosie, Ankha, and Lionel, but I'm pretty sure everyone else I got for free online. I have mad dreamie hunting skills.

I got most of mine in my main town for free. Some I got from cycling threads and giveaways/raffles, some from my own cycle town. I paid TBT for Julian but he's still stuck in my cycle town until someone from my main town moves. I haven't fully decided which dreamies to have in my second town.

Apollo moved in himself when I was plot resetting for him!! Lolly was camping and she grew on me! I got Lucky when I TT'd back a few months to check what bushes I planted and I saw him camping!! The others I bought from very helpful TBT users!

Everyone that's currently living in my town has been brought in from the campsite, except for Beardo, who I got from my brother.

Tricera villagers were all either adopted from randoms or my friend.
Apocalia villagers are all from my friends cycling town. lol..

I don't really buy into the whole "dreamie" concept. My favourite villagers though are Lobo and Tia. I got Lobo through four hours of plot resetting. I got Tia free when someone came into the IRC and asked if anyone wanted her.

Whitney was going for 7 million and I had just sold Lolly for 14 mill a few days prior so I was able to get her and had enough to pay off my house and some public works projects. I'll never forget everything that little cat did for me, I still have two villager pics from her.

Roscoe was going to be voided and I managed to save him at the last minute, he is my favorite cranky villager (sorry Knox) and my favorite horse (sorry Julian).

Someone had Sterling in their cycle town on the day I was moving Bam out, unfortunately I wasn't getting any offers on Bam and they had Sterling ready faster than I anticipated so I had to void him to get Sterling (I have the worst luck when trading deer villagers).

Knox appeared in my campsite and I bet an amethyst to get him to move in.

Julian was on auction and I got him for fairly cheap, I think it was only about 3 mill. I wasn't going to bid on him at first because I expected to be busy selling Lopez most of the day but the person selling him was having bad luck selling him and extended the auction time so I was able to get him.

Plot resetting. Except Merengue, I got her by trading a Marshal that I had on my 2nd copy. Oh and Mott was one of my starters, and Beau/Ruby moved in by chance, but I liked them.

My first dreamie was Skye! I posted in the 'Looking for Thread' and luckily I was offered her the next day!

Diana, Deirdre, Zell, and Lopez all moved in on their own, I think...(Lopez I got from the campsite, though. Maybe Zell too?)
Bruce was given to me by Zulehan in their cycling town.
Erik and Fuchsia must have come from trades.

I ended up having 2 of my dreamies in my town when I first got the game! Lucky me

In my first town, I got most of my dreamies from cycling or giveaways…like Goldie, Cookie, Walker, Shep, Portia. Bones moved in from the campsite. A few I bought, like Lolly. With my new town, I'm trying resetting. It worked for Cookie, Portia, and Butch. I'm up to 9 villagers already, so I'll need to find the others in the campsite or online.

I got most of my dreamies out of pure freaking luck.

Kitt on the other hand, was given to me by a really good friend of mine here.

I got Fuchsia via these forums, and the rest... they just kinda showed up/ moved in on their own.

I didn't really have any specific villagers I wanted before I started my town. It was only after a while that I really wanted certain villagers, and Fuchsia's the first one I got. ^^

I didn't get any of my Dream Villagers and I don't plan to either.
