The dreadful ping

Every time one of my dreamies ping me, I get so afraid they're asking to move. Turns out it was only a greetings change.
False alarm!

Would you rather have them not ping you and just move out on you before you know it?

Why would you be afraid if they're pinging you? You could easily deny the request, and things are back to normal.

I'm aware I can deny the request but I don't want them to want to ping me when I have others I want to move out. I want them to want to stay.

No I want them to ping me instead of up and leaving but at the same time I want them to want to stay. I have some undesirable villagers I want to ping me instead of them.

The ping can be very scary at times. Though msot of the time they just want something to est. THERE IS FOOD LYING ON THE GROUND PEOPLE1

THIS. I get sort of nervous if they haven't given me that "I'm thinking of moving" ping in a long time.

But yeah, I DO relate to that sinking feeling. One time I pushed the wrong button and asked them to go, when it was a villager I wanted to keep. Yikes! I think I shut it down without saving or something like that. It was terrible.
