Honestly, I'm finding myself progressively bothered by seeing Isabelle at the start of every day. There's only so many times a man can hear about a tv show or a new issue of a magazine. I wonder why Nintendo thought it was necessary to have her speak on a daily basis, regardless of there being nothing to report. It's not as if we can't go speak to her on our own at any point we wish. Obviously, they want her to be a key character. That's fine. But, this isn't working.
Also, it would be different if it was more common for her to report actual news than her personal stories. I'd say that you're easily looking at 5 out of 7 days where she says nothing of value. I'd be fine if they reversed those numbers, and she told a personal story once or twice a week. And why doesn't she tell you when characters like Gulliver, or CJ/Flick are around? Sure...it's not the most exciting info...but, it beats being told that nothing is happening. Or even the weather. She could say "the weather is clear this morning, but we might have rain this evening". Anything. I'm begging you, Nintendo...patch her to say anything mildly useful. I can't take it any longer. Lol.
