So I tried calling Etoile with the megaphone when I was near her while she was facing away from me, and she did the pinging emote, then turned around to face me and bowed to say hi. Omg my heart melted <3 Has anyone seen this before?

This is the second post in as many days regarding the megaphone. I've never used it but am finding myself mildly interested in giving it a shot. That said, I don't think my fianc? would appreciate me calling out for Elmer while we're watching episodes of The Office or Kim's Convenience on Netflix.

Maybe I'll wait for a time when she isn't home to see how useful it is.

I’ve done this before and it makes me smile.... Having them too close to you will blow their eardrums and become angry. Lol. I heard that using the megaphone beside Gulliver passed out will wake him up in one interaction, but I’m not sure if that’s true.

mhm, it's a super cute detail that's reminiscent of when you clicked on the game at a villager I'm Wild World/Let's Go to the city (City Folk) and then they'd wave at you.

I had them do this in my old town when I liked using the megaphone. I thought it had to do with their personality type, but it might be based on friendship. Not really sure which it is.

There were some times I did it too close and they were absolutely shocked. They probably weren't very happy about it, but I found it kind of amusing.

That's really cute! I love it when I use the megaphone and the villager waves at me it makes my heart feel warm ;v; But yeah sometimes you might be standing too close to the villager and that would make them mad huhu sorry kabuki (( It apparently also works on Katie I've tried it and you should too because it's adorable because she so tiny aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Using the megaphone does work on gulliver!! It's a lot faster than pressing A multiple times to wake him up )))

I guess that's a good way to check your friendship level! I never use the megaphone either because I found that it's pretty inaccurate whenever I do it. If I did I only used it to see who was in town and not in shops.
