There have been countless topics on this. One of them ended in a flame war over religion.

The egg came first.

Chicken because it depends on what you belive in if you belive in god then Jesus named the chicken-chicken but if you dont belive in god big bang theory then it also makes a chicken and that would be like the mother of all chickens

...
So chicken O.o

I was hesitating on this one since awhile. Now, I'll pick chicken.

I'm gonna go way back and say the Dinosaurs considering birds "Evolved" from them which means the Egg came first considering Dinosaurs laid eggs. 0-o

The egg because the first chicken would have been a mutant of another bird, and have been in an egg before it was born.

The Chicken.

From a creationist standpoint: When God created everything, he made all of the animals, he didn't made their pre-existing conditions, he made the animals.

From an evolutionist's point of view: Somehow, the genetic code for the chicken would have had to have come from some creature with the genetic code for it.

'Nother evo's standpoint: If the t-rex is what the chicken evolved from, then technically the t-erx was a chicken. And vice versa.

The egg, when ancient animals were evolving an ancestor of the chickens laid in egg which contained the chicken we know today.

Chicken. Since in the bible it says god created land animals. Then birds, Then the chickens laid the eggies.

Chicken,i believe in god,so yeah.
So do I, but most people just accept evolution now, the book of genesis was written to show why god built the world and how much love went into it, it want meant as an accurate discription I the creation of everything.

Sad thing is, is that come Christians/Creationists are trying to incorporate evolution into the Bible where it 1. Has no place, and 2. No biblical reference.

A whole bunch of Christians would beg to differ.
