The Char was trolling

I decided to search for a char today. Starting at 4pm, I began my search. I went to the top of the waterfall like people online suggested and let my lure float down the waterfall. If no char, I hit save and continue and tried again. I searched for about 2 hours and gave up. I decided to wait until 9pm to search for another fish. 9pm on the dot, I see a medium fish spot in the river about a screen's length away from the waterfall. I pulled it up, expecting another fish... but it was the char!

when i caught a coelacanth, it was totally unexpected. i was trying to get one, but i gave up and started looking for other fish. then, lo and behold, the coelacanth was caught and i put it in my pockets. i was super hyped. i think i took a screenshot just to commemorate

I catch black bass and sea bass

The oarfish. I have only ever caught one in my whole time of playing NL and I've been playing since release. I was so so stoked.

And the stringfish. In all my AC games it's always been the last one that I caught to finish my fish exhibit in the museum. Every darn time.
